The Circle & The Void Series
The Void - attaining a state of emptiness is viewed as a state of stillness and placidity which is the "mirror of the universe" and the "pure mind". The Tao Te Ching claims that emptiness is related to the "Tao, the Great Principle, the Creator and Sustainer of everything in the universe."
The circle in many cultures represents the ideas of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement. As a Taoist the circle represents “life in the round”. To live “life in the round” means to connect and flow with yin and yang as they pass through one phase of change and then the other.
